What came out of the first mentorship clinic
Demo storyForty-two recent leavers met alumni volunteers across six fields. The most common request was not a job — it was a conversation about which course to take.
Forty-two recent leavers joined the first clinic. Six alumni volunteers covered teaching, nursing, law, engineering, business and public service.
Two patterns stood out. First, most questions were about course and institution choices rather than employment. Second, almost every student asked for a follow-up conversation, which the association can answer by pairing people by field rather than running a single large event.
